Folkscope + Zapier

Folkscope connects to Zapier through its webhook layer. A Flow fires an outbound webhook on a trigger you choose, Zapier catches it with a Catch Hook, and from there you can fan the lead out to almost any app Zapier supports. Folkscope still does the hard part: it tracks the accounts you pick, enriches every engager into a lead with role, company, and location, and scores them daily against your ICP. Zapier just decides where those scored leads go next, which makes it the easiest way to reach a tool Folkscope does not build natively.

Folkscope + Zapier

Catch Folkscope leads in Zapier and send them to any app you use.

How it works

  1. 1

    Track and capture engagement

Folkscope watches your tracked LinkedIn profiles and company pages for likes, comments, and reactions.

  2. 2

    Enrich and ICP-score

Each engager becomes a lead with role, company, and location and gets a daily ICP score.

  3. 3

    Flow fires a webhook

A Flow trigger sends the lead as an outbound webhook payload to your Zapier Catch Hook URL.

  4. 4

    Zapier routes the lead

Use Zapier filters, paths, and actions to send the lead to any app, from a CRM to a spreadsheet to an SMS.

What you can do with it

  • Send ICP-qualified leads to a CRM Folkscope does not natively support, like Pipedrive or Close.
  • Add engagers to an outreach tool such as Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo through their Zapier app.
  • Append every scored lead to a Google Sheet for a running record your team can filter.
  • Use a Zapier path to send senior titles to one channel and everyone else to another.
  • Trigger a text or email to the lead owner when a high-ICP person engages.

Setup

  1. In Zapier, create a Zap with a Webhooks by Zapier Catch Hook trigger and copy the URL.
  2. In Folkscope, create a Flow with a webhook action and paste the Zapier URL.
  3. Set the Flow trigger to NEW_LEAD or an ICP-qualified lead, depending on how much you want through.
  4. Add and map the destination app steps in Zapier (CRM, sheet, outreach tool, and so on).
  5. Run a test engagement, confirm Zapier receives the payload, and switch the Zap on.

Frequently asked questions

Does Folkscope have a published Zapier app?

Folkscope connects to Zapier through its generic outbound webhook and Zapier's Catch Hook trigger. That gives you the same reach as a native Zapier app without needing one.

What data does the webhook send?

The payload carries the enriched lead, including name, role, company, location, the ICP score, and which post the person engaged with, so Zapier has everything it needs to route.

Should I use Zapier or a native integration?

Use the native HubSpot, Salesforce, or Slack integrations where they exist, since they are simpler. Reach for Zapier when you want to hit a tool Folkscope does not build directly.
