Folkscope + Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams has no native Folkscope build, yet it supports incoming webhooks, so you can wire it up through the Folkscope webhook layer. Folkscope tracks the accounts you pick, enriches each engager into a lead with role, company, and location, and scores them daily against your ICP. A Flow then fires a webhook to a Teams channel connector, and the alert shows up where your team already chats. Sales teams that run on Microsoft 365 get the same fast heads-up that Slack users get, without leaving Teams.
Folkscope + Microsoft Teams
Post scored LinkedIn lead alerts into a Teams channel through a webhook.
How it works
- 1
Track LinkedIn accounts
Add the profiles and company pages whose engagement you want to act on.
- 2
Capture and enrich the engager
When someone engages a tracked post, Folkscope turns them into a lead with role, company, and location.
- 3
Score against your ICP
The daily run scores each lead so you can alert only on the people who fit.
- 4
Webhook posts to Teams
A Flow fires an outbound webhook to a Teams incoming-webhook URL, which posts the alert in your channel.
What you can do with it
- Alert a Teams sales channel whenever an ICP-qualified person engages with your tracked posts.
- Send alerts to a region-specific Teams channel based on the lead's location.
- Notify an account team when someone from a target account engages, so they can coordinate outreach.
- Include the ICP score and post link in the Teams card so reps can judge and act in one place.
- Post a senior-title alert to a leadership channel when a VP or C-level person engages.
Setup
- In Teams, add an Incoming Webhook to the channel you want and copy its URL.
- In Folkscope, create a Flow with a webhook action and paste the Teams URL.
- Gate the Flow on an ICP-qualified trigger so only good leads post.
- Shape the payload to include name, role, company, score, and the post link.
- Send a test engagement and confirm the card appears in the Teams channel.
Frequently asked questions
Is Microsoft Teams a native integration?
No. Teams connects through Folkscope's outbound webhook pointed at a Teams incoming-webhook URL. Slack is the native messaging integration today.
Do I need an IT admin to set this up?
Adding an incoming webhook to a channel is usually something a channel owner can do, but some organizations restrict connectors, so you may need an admin to allow it.
Can I control which leads reach Teams?
Yes. Set the Flow trigger to an ICP-qualified lead, and only people above your score threshold will be posted to the channel.
